Israel uses white phosphorus explosives--made in the USA, of course--against Palestinians. White phosphorus burns, and burns, and burns. You can't put it out. Can you even imagine your flesh burning from a white phosphorus wound?

But the USA also uses white phosphorus on its enemies. In Afghanistan.

White phosphorus is not quite the same thing as nuclear disintegration, or irradiation, but the use of white phosphorus shells is as close as the USA can get to using nuclear weapons, I guess, without inciting absolute disgust and total condemnation.

But why not absolute disgust and total condemnation for the use of white phosphorus?

If President Obama doesn't ban the use of white phosphorus--and the sale of white phosphorus--immediately and unconditionally, then the USA should be banned from the human community.

If there is a god, he must surely damn the USA.
